Introducing Heal the Bay’s Community Beach Clean Up Day in Venice Beach! This event is scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd, and we are excited to invite you to join us. Coastal Cleanup Day is an international day of action to protect our oceans, watersheds, and wildlife from trash and debris.
Our goal is to raise awareness and promote the importance of keeping our beaches clean and free of pollution. Our Mother Earth cares for us and this planet in unimaginable ways. Staying outdoors gives us the Freedom & the Joy we desire in Life. It’s our responsibility to give back and give Gratitude to our planet.
We will be meeting at Rose Ave under the tent just south of the Playground. The clean up event will start around 9am and end around 10am, then we will conclude the day with activities until 12pm. We encourage volunteers of all ages to participate, and we will provide all necessary supplies, such as gloves and bags.
In addition to cleaning up the beach, we will also have recreational activities and games for children and adults post clean up. We want this to be a fun and informative day for everyone involved. Let's work together to make a positive impact on our environment and community!

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
We highly encourage carpooling, ride-sharing, biking, or taking mass transit as daily beach parking permits can vary in price depending on the season and crowds at the beach. Metro offers a quick and easy tool to plan your trip. Parking on Neilsen Way is as low as $1 per hour.
Parking updates on LA County-operated as well as city-specific beach parking lots are in-waiting and expected at the end of August.
